Our one year anniversary came and Doug was really excited to eat our top of our wedding cake. I was not looking forward to it. I hadn't eaten sugar in a about 6 months and it was a year old cake! After taking a bite, we both thought it was delicious. So, we ate the entire cake top! (no, not in one day) Who would've thought? Figures...that fondant icing is like insulation for a cake--no oxygen is getting in there!
