Fireworks!

Doug and I were so excited to show Ethan and Sydney the fireworks this year and thought they would really enjoy the festivities of the Fourth of July.  We purchased Sydney's shirt months ago (at the grocery store...what a find!) I snapped a photo before we left for my parent's house closeby.  I tried to remove the binki and the toothbrushes (Syd's favorite) but that ended in disaster.

  

We thought they would love fireworks.  Well, we forgot about two things:
1. Fireworks happen when it's dark and Ethan and Sydney are normally in bed.
2. There is a lot of noise made by such fireworks.
 

My parent's back porch was an excellent view of several different fireworks shows in the valley. Who needs to go early to set out your blanket when you can just walk outside?
