Party people

I joke with my family that I am the "party planning committee" and this is strictly because I love parties!    

We had a party for Aunt Michelle's birthday and invited the Merrills to join us for pie.  Ethan and Sydney were eager to help her blow out her candles.

Ethan and Sydney have waited for a week for their pizza party to practice for the Primary Program at church.  Oh. My. Goodness.  I have waited for this moment for so many years.  I remember anticipating that "someday" I'd be lucky enough to have kids and that they would be up on the stand.  They sing their hearts out and I'm known as "Ethan and Sydney's mom" to the kids at church.  They are so popular and so fun-loving.  They were quite puzzled that we would be leaving them there on a Friday afternoon and not be staying.  Sydney was a little emotional about that.  It was sweet.

The next day came Doug's favorite party--the Utes vs BYU Cougars football rivalry game.  We decided to host his family party with the game start time of 7 pm being Ethan and Sydney's bedtime.  They were so excited to have cousins over.  We let them stay up until half time with us and enjoy snacks and treats.

Monday, Ethan and Sydney threw a little "party" of their own.  The loaded our large Luv Sac with anything and everything.  When I asked what they were doing, they proudly announced that they were "going on a mission" as if it was obvious and were surprised I couldn't tell.

We have a party in the car most of the time and Ethan must have licked this googley-eye and put it on his forehead.  He cracks me up.
