Renovation insanity

Oh boy. I've already started this renovation process wondering what we were thinking.  It's been difficult to have Doug at work and stopping at the house in the evenings.  I keep telling myself that we will be moving in by the end of Nov or first week in December at the latest.  I CAN MAKE IT.

Grandma Marchant was a welcome face and we absolutely love her visits.

Doug learned to tile a bathroom this week.  Our current neighbor, Dan, was kind enough to show Doug 'the ropes'.  Doug tells me it's "not too bad" and I think we'll be doing some more tile projects!  I found this tile at Dal Tile in Provo on clearance.  Regularly $10/sq ft, but we got it for $2.50/sq ft. I couldn't resist and bought all they had!

Thank goodness Ethan and Sydney are getting independence, but I cannot believe my babies are growing up so fast!  They are begging me to make their own toast these days.  We're working on mastering the buttering...

They have been troopers going to flooring stores, lots of them!  We took a third visit to Lumber Liquidators this week and they got comfortable with the staff chill in' on the barstools and laughing so hard.  I kept telling them not to laugh so loudly.  Cuties!

Laughed so hard this week when I picked them up after they had played at the Merrill's house and Uncle Eric was hiding and throwing ping pong balls at Ethan.  He loved it and I was laughing so hard.

I have had to be more creative to keep them entertained.  Packing craft supplies has helped. We made wands with skewers and fussy craft balls.

Grandma Beckstrand has been over helping me pack.  She's an angel.  Thanks mom.

We've spent stone time with cousins and Avery loves Lyla.  It's super cute.

Ethan dressed up as a prince this week! This is a first and I was excited that he was a little interested!!
