I Spy

We bought some books at Savers and I debated buying this "I Spy" book because I wasn't sure they would understand the concept.  Boy, was I wrong!  They will find this book and bring it to me over and over again and can find most objects that they know.  I was pretty impressed.  They crawled up into this chair together on their own with books today and I just laughed. They are so fun!

One other passion they have is for laundry. When we first moved here and were adjusting to the heat, I would wet their hair with a rag before bed. They weren't big fans, so I started calling it 'a hat' so they would hold still for me. It worked perfectly!  Now, when Sydney spots a rag she tries to put it on her head while saying "hat, hat!"

She has been crawling onto the couch (a.k.a our bed with pillows in the back) and playing in the laundry while I fold. I have been impressed that she doesn't go for the folded clothes until she's desperate.  Nice.
