With just a few weeks left on the island, we are barely sitting still. We are trying to just get the kids down for a nap and get them in bed on time. We spent family night at the PCC to see the Christmas light show. There was a 'show' going on with kids singing and dancing before we got in line. They kids were in heaven--Christmas lights, music, and dancing all together!
The canoe ride was 45 minutes long and well worth the late bedtime. The first half is the Nativity and the second half is kids dancing to Christmas music. Doesn't get much better.
In preparation for our family photo, we realized that the kids needed haircuts...bad! It had been way too long. Let's be honest--after my experience going to the only salon I could find in town, I was scared to take them. We got a referral for another place. Although not great, it was not a disaster.
Ethan and Sydney have fallen in love with Christmas lights and it's a good thing the Aloha Center on campus has lots of them during the day. They don't understand why there are no lights on when the sun is up.
We also have picked out a few things for them to wear in our family Christmas photo. Ethan begged me to let him wear Sydney's dress and I indulged him. He started dancing and I started filming.
