We heard that the sunset at the St. Regis hotel was spectacular. Since it was just 2 miles from our resort in Princeville and it was a 'sister resort' where we could swim, we decided to go see it. It was so worth it.
We went for a swim in the pool after the sunset. It was amazing.
The St. Regis resort is the nicest on the island, I believe. The lobby was pretty spectacular. It was built on a cliff so you have to use different elevators to get down to the pool. Everyone was walking around in formal wear or a swimsuit. It felt like another world. We almost chose to stay here (we had a free night credit we could use) and after walking around, I am glad we chose the one we did.
